Climate change ... sharing scientists views

Are scientists pedalling lies about climate change? A new film, Thin Ice, which has taken five years to make, will answer this and many other questions on the subject as NMMU participates in the global screening from Earth Day on 22 April.

Madibaz v Maties ... tonight's the night!

Tonight our Madibaz take on Maties ... the new kids on the block are playing in Stellenbosch University's back-yard in what is NMMU's first-ever Varsity Cup semi-final. And we'll be there - four busloads of students who travelled overnight to be a part of the historic game.

Improving people's lives - that's the aim of the newly-launched Human Settement Development degree and accompanying Educational Chair for what is now a new professional discipline. They're both firsts for South Africa and they're happening at NMMU.
