On Blogging

Critiques, and there are many, of blogging see the medium as "self-absorbed, narcissistic, and pretentious".

I agree that blogging can be that.  Still, they can also be experimental writings for readers to comment on, and challenges of unorthodox positions and ideas wherein the blogger is expressing ideas and positions outside the traditional media that design at challenging the mainstream thinking and opinions.

Here is what I am trying to do here

What I am trying to do in the blog is to open up discussions on problems and concerns in social, human and ontological research, in general, and my research, in particular.  And provide critical, controversial, marginal and non-mainstream views and analysis of historical and current events that will not be covered in other media.  I am not mentioning myself, my life and my every-day, mundane, living, unless it is as an autoethnographic attempt to look at critically and examine  a human or social phenomena through my living it.

Here is my output on the present conflict in Gaza as a person who knows it, experienced and worked on trying to bring Palestinians an Israelis together.  As I said, it is my first attempt to combine illustrative and illustrating visual images with text in order to illustrate the text.

I also opened up discussion on questions of values, clash of contradictory values and the partisan assertion of bias (propaganda), self-indulgent solipsism, or the retreat into relativism, in ontological dialectical narratives of how do I lead a more meaningful life? or how do we create a greater democracy of and for all in dignity, humanity, wellbeing, growth and empowerment  and  equality for us?  I am problematizing and testing my theorized applied dialectical method as I working on it and critically reflect and attempt to dialectically dialogue on it.

I have no interest whatsoever in conveying my personal life just for the sake of showcasing it to other people.  I am a very private person.  I experience no ontological need whatsoever to advertise myself and my life.
