We are a group of NMMU students who are passionate about making a difference and we firmly believe that:

Together We Can is a student-based body that helps to empower high school pupils in the Port Elizabeth district by tutoring major Commerce and Science subjects.

We go to Soqhayisa SSS and Masiphathisane SSS high schools on Saturday mornings and tutor the grade 11 and 12 pupils. We currently tutor all grade 11 and 12 subjects except for the languages.

As tutors in this society, we are able to give back to the community and help young people make their dreams come true. The pupils are eager to learn and with a little help, they exceed our wildest expectations.

Being a member of TWC is not only about helping others but about you helping yourself. Being a tutor requires dedication, responsibility and people skills and these are all qualities that are needed in life.
